Have a Good Day

aha moment jae m rang Oct 05, 2026

Did you decide to have a bad day today?

Of course not. Nobody wakes up and thinks, "I'm going to make a mess of my day." And yet, as Myron Golden puts it, that's exactly what happens, repeatedly, for most people. Not because they're lazy or broken. Because a program they didn’t write is running the show.

Here's what I mean.

You arrived in this world as a blank slate, and from the moment of gestation, voices, music, behaviour, and emotion began writing your operating system. By the time you were two, your brain was already filtering everything through questions like, is this safe? Will this get me what I need? You didn't choose those filters. They were installed.

School continued the installation. So did church, government, and the culture around you. And what did that collective programming produce? People who are skilled at following instructions, showing up on time, and trading their hours for a paycheque. Worker bees, not Queen bees.

You can earn every degree on offer and still graduate without a single lesson in selling, building a business, managing money, or leading yourself. That wasn't an accident. A population that can think for itself is dangerous to the people doing the wiring.

Now here's where it gets interesting.

Myron Golden says, "Money is spiritual, not physical." What he means is that a one-cent copper coin holds more raw material value than a paper hundred-dollar bill. We don't give currency its power based on what it's made of. We give it power based on information and confidence.

Money is energy. It responds to belief, not just effort. And if your operating system was installed by people who needed you manageable, compliant, and slightly afraid, how will that “poverty is noble” mindset affect your earnings…your lifestyle?

Aha! ~ Time to remember who you are

When you hear "you are designed for infinite potential," something in you likely rejects it. Not because it's untrue. Because your current programming throws up an error message. The system flags it as incompatible and shuts it down before you can even consider it.

That's not a character flaw. That's a program running. The program running your finances isn't yours either. It was installed before you were old enough to question it … but you’re old enough now.

Changing it means uninstalling and reinstalling. Unlearning and relearning. And yes, getting over that rejection takes courage, awareness, humility and a genuine desire to release the shackles that have unintentionally defined your ceiling.

You can write a new one. But first you need to see the old one clearly.

Question the program. Succeed deliberately.

That unlearning means admitting that what you learned is not serving you.  Ready to talk about how humbling that is?  Join us Wednesday at 4:00 pm EDT.  Email me [email protected] for the link to join.
